Job interviews are critical for both employers and candidates. They provide an opportunity for employers to assess a candidate's suitability for a position, and for candidates to demonstrate their qualifications and fit for the role and company culture. To help you succeed in a job interview, here are some dos and don'ts to keep in mind.


Research the Company:

  • Do thorough research on the company, its culture, values, products, and services.

  • Understand the industry in which the company operates.

Prepare for Common Questions:

  • Be ready to answer common interview questions about your background, strengths, weaknesses, and career goals.

  • Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers when discussing past experiences.

  • When in doubt, it's better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed.

Arrive on Time:
